Dr. Vilims is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine. He completed a prestigious twelve-month Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Vilims has distinguished himself as a pioneer in diagnostic and therapeutic spinal injections and holds numerous patents in the fields of regenerative medicine, neuromodulation, and RF thermal coagulation, with products marketed globally.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Vilims has demonstrated strong leadership within the medical community. He has served on various advisory and quality assurance boards, including the Occupational Medicine Advisory Board of the Colorado Medical Society and the Sloan’s Lake Quality Assurance Committee. Dr. Vilims is also a past president of the Colorado Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and has been a master instructor and featured speaker at major international conferences, including those hosted by The Spine Intervention Society and the North American Spine Society.
